Such a lovely walk that isn’t too hard. Can get a little muddy in places but to be fair we have just had lots of rain, so not usually muddy.

Just a 2-minute walk from the car park you get a great view of the Okere falls and glimpses of what was the power stations. If you are lucky, you can see white water rafting and kayaking.

Definitely worth the 3-4 min trip down the road from Kaituna Cascades rafting base. Go early and check out what your in for. Just don't lose your nerve - lol.
