Excellent, well-maintained rental equipment, friendly, professional service and an awesome trail system catering to all skill levels. Shuttle bus and trailer very pro and drivers all very helpful and knowledgeable. Fun pump track right next to the parking lot. Definitely recommend!

Wow! What a day out. So hard to get teenage kids (16&17) to participate and enjoy themselves in the outdoors these days. The whole family really loved the electric MTBs and the trails were really well maintained with a great variety of ability levels. Mean switch backs, climbs, jumps and easy rolling trails. The Owner and staff were super helpful, friendly and gear was top of the line well maintained and easy to use when following the instructions from staff. We highly recommend doing this with the whole family or a group of mates.

Paihia Mountain Bikes was a great company to deal with. Jonny is an expert in both the trail and local area. The bike quality is high and the level of service exceptional. As a solo traveller you get use to some trips not being available unless minimum numbers are met, but Paihia Mountain Bikes was happy to accommodate me and no extra. I did the 2 day trip starting in the middle each day which gives you the perfect amount of unrushed time to do the trail. Plenty of time to take in the scenery of the north. The trail itself is a nice mix of terrain with a few rough patches but nothing an average rider can’t handle. If you haven’t ridden in a while, consider an e-bike. Scenery is a mix of farm land, coastal board-walks, old rail-way and a little small-town footpath. I did it in spring when the weather was not to hot and a great time of the year to see the spring growth.
