  • A majestic view of the Lighthouse with Mt Taranaki at the back of it in a fine day is the selling pt of this landmark. Only a short drive off the main road, there’s no sign post on the main road pointing the location of the Lighthouse though. No access to the Lighthouse or the base of it. There’s no car park there as well so you are able to park cars there only when there are not many visitors
  • Another lighthouse off our to do list. We had the time so visited this lighthouse. Was only about 5 km down Cape Road from the main highway. Try and visit on a fine day so you can enjoy the views of the ocean. Only 30 steps up to the light house. About 80 meters from the end of the road is an entrance with a chain and signage denoting the walking entrance.
  • Worth a visit. No sign posts , so deceiving off the main road, and we were unsure where access was, after going over a chain and cattle stop, we made it easy few steps up the hill. Very stunning even on a rainy day
  • This is a lovely landmark of the Naki thats worth a visit. Nothing spectacular if you're looking for an oomph factor. The views from the lighthouse and the lighthouse itself are nice. Could certainly use some maintenance around.. The surrounding grounds are private, so.please remember to be respectful :)
  • Apart from the amazing view and heritage at the lighthouse, you have to try the coffee from the little shop at the entrance, which has the most welcoming and friendly owner and keeper.
