  • A relatively easy walk even in the midst of summer with plenty of shade provided by dense foliage. Beautiful blue water in a creek. Water is very clear and uncontaminated. Worth the effort to drive...

  • Beautiful walking track along the river. The area is quite flat with a. Couple of small hills and stairs. This track is suitable for kids and adults. The river is very clear and you can bring your own inflatable water float! There are plenty of parking and public toilets available.
  • This is a wonderful, easy walk, ideal for families. The walk along the stream especially on a fine day is as refreshing to the soul as the water is pure. A short but beautiful stroll through nature that shows just how pretty NZ is.
  • Very stunning nature!! Make a stop here at your next visit to Hamilton. We also encountered cows on our walk which was lovely. The water wasn’t very turquoise but it still looked very beautiful. It’s such a peaceful easy walk. It’s also not crowded when we came.
  • Has a very big car park area has toilet and tables, the walk along the river is on a well maintained track goes in and out of cover, the water is beautiful crystal clear spring water and very cold, there is a shallow area of water to swim in after your walk near the bridge. There is a toilet 1km into the walk, there are also 2 sets of steps very easy though. There is another toilet not long before you get to the other end of the walk (Blue Springs Parking area)
  • It was nature's delight and we were lucky it was a cloudy day with nice summer breeze. The walk was long but worth every step as so many beautiful natural points which are really mesmerizing. We would love to visit again though toilet facility was not upto the mark and can be improved. The water in the last zone is really worth watching as so clear and you see the river bed clearly.
