  • Such an awesome place to visit. Our guide had great knowledge of the village and it's rich history. Also his knowledge of the geothermal pools was amazing! He made sure everyone in the tour group was well looked after despite the downpour we faced on our tour. Also, the geothermal corn tasted quite nice! Would definitely recommend visiting this place and also doing the guided the tour.
  • A must do when visiting Rotorua. A realistic look into a Living Maori Village. Staff at reception are professional, friendly and know the meaning of delivering great customer service. Our guide was excellent with a wide knowledge of the history. She had us fixated from start to finish. The performance was very entertaining, not too long which was good. The performers really went the extra mile. Good value for money. Suitable for all ages.
  • A very cool experience! If you’re considering visiting, I recommend it! There are two halves to the village - the village itself, and the geothermal park. Both require different tickets, and neither is cheap. However, I recommend visiting both as the village is a unique cultural and learning experience while the park is full of stunning scenery. If you have some time to spare, the performance is also worth watching!
  • Went for the self guided tour. If you have been to Iceland, then to me this is nothing comparable. But still a nice place to walk around. Interesting to see smoke coming out of the ground in a town area. Could be better if the weather is good I suppose.
  • Highly recommend. The performance was fantastic and worth watching. It gave a great insight into the Māori culture. The walking tour - Our guide Phillip was very knowledgeable and lovely. He had funny jokes throughout the tour but finished by personally singing us all a song as a kind of blessing to wish us all well. It touched my heart and I hope other people get to experience his tours as they were entertaining but very sweet at the same time.
