    awesome place. you can see so many seals there, it's a fanatic experience. It's next to the street and there is also a parking lot. amazing view, i would really recommend going there. also the landscape in this area is just stunning. Next to it is another viewing place for the seal colony's

    Such a beautiful place. Good walk on about 200 or so stairs. Lighthouse and it’s environment kept clean - thank you to those who have gone before me and kept it clean. Beautiful views of the ocean and if you’re lucky like I was… saw some magnificent seals living their best life sun bathing….. Word of advice - take your time going up the stairs and even take some lunch or snacks to eat when you are up there.

    Fantastic spot. Wild scenic drive with plenty to see along the way. Nice stair climb to stretch your legs. Plenty of parking and prone to severe weather.

    Great spot, we had perfect weather and enjoyed a walk up the stairs. The views are excellent and if you get good weather then you'll be able to see the south Island and way out into the bay

    Great view - all the way to the South Island's snow capped mountains! Perfect weather for my visit. So many seals around too. Recommend a visit 👍
