Escape Mate, Wellington

Had an amazing time doing the temple escape room, highly recommend! The guy was lovely and very skilled at when to help us so we didn't get too like painfully stuck. The mechanisms all worked very well and the clues were fun. There was also a great mix of easy and harder puzzles to solve. Already planning when I can go back to do more. Thanks

Myself and a couple friends did the space escape room yesterday and it was such a fun way to use up an hour in our day! We had Matthew as our host and he was absolutely incredible! We felt well prepared and so comfortable to jump in and have fun! He really made our time there worth while! Thank you! And definitely recommend giving these rooms a go!

Before travelling to New Zealand we researched all of the Escape Rooms that we wanted to play and our #1 choice was Atlantis however there was only 2 of us so we chose the Temple game and it was amazing. Fortunately we were there on the day that the Owner was present and she invited us to play Atlantis at the other location. Woowza! It was everything that we hoped it would be and more. The photos don't show the full scope of the game and I won't give away any spoilers but even half of this game is better than most any other games we have played (over 100 each). You won't find a better immersive game than Atlantis. It rivals the best anywhere. If it was in a large European city or LA in the US it would be booked up solid. If you are anywhere close to Wellington, do yourselves a favor and play any of the 3 games from Escape Mate. You will be glad that you did!

60 minutes went by so fast! My son and took on the Temple, and I didn't find out until we left that he had done this before! I was wondering why he wasn't helping much! He had loved his experience so much he wanted to take me. I can highly recommend this room, very well thought out and clever puzzles. You can do in a small team of two, but you may need a few clues.

We did the temple escape room and it was so much fun! Just challenging enough and such a cool set up inside. We had Matthew run us through the temple escape room and he was amazing! So helpful and really nice we had an awesome time, thank you so much!
