Beautiful beach that has unfortunately been spoiled by being owned by a resort. It’s a minimum 30 min drive from San Juan del Sur and you have to pay entry to the beach. Once there, there are no bars.... more

It's a fun route to get there. Fair entrance fee (3usd extrañeros). The beach is HUGE with no rocks almost. Fun to run walk and play. The beach itself has very little rocks and the water is clean. The place to sit has just good food/fair pricing for what you get. No extra charge for hammocks etc.

Great shady seating areas with hammocks at no extra cost. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Very good and friendly service. And the beach is just gorgeous 😍

Excellent beach for surfing and swimming! Love the setup with serviced cabanas along the beach. We were surprised to see lights and outlets in each cabana, too. Morning was nice and quiet, and at noon they started playing dance music. Service was great and food was amazing — especially the dorado daily special for $10 including a drink. Highly recommend for a half-day trip near SJDS. The drive in is not for the feint of heart; recommend you have 4x4.

Excellent place to chill out. The beach was clean and beautiful. The area to hang out was comfy with choices of hammocks, beach chairs and tables. The staff there was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean as well. Its a bit of a rough road getting in and you drive thru a couple of streams as well. We drove there in a tiny Suzuki alto, but it was the dry season. All in all a nice place to relax

Always clean and amazing. Price is decent and it’s probably the best lagosta/lobster (al vapor) for the price in San Juan Del Sur. Quality of the food is always consistent. Price is decent. Careful it’s quite a good drive in the woods/moutains: could be a problem if you are in scooter and not confortable or with a small car.
