If you are near by, stop at the reserve for a few hours. We had multiple guides, Allen and two trainees, as well as Eduardo, from Montibelli. A lot of birds in few hours... Get there before dusk or..... more

Great family hike. Takes about an hour total to see the waterfall. Take the guide - total less than $10 including entry. Gorgeous nature.

We had a really good time and was lucky to have a driver who made us feel ok about the bad road there. Nicaragua has some of the best maintained roads I have ever seen so it’s too bad this one road...
