Akershus Castle and Fortress (Akershus Slott og Festning), Oslo

Lovely old buildings, and heaps of history. Lots of places to take photos. The outside is nice, but there is a museum here which isn't listed here in google, but is really nice. The audio guide does a good job of walking you through the building, telling little bits of useful info, and has ghost stories. The fortress is free to visit, but the museum isn't. It is worth a visit.

Amazing attraction which is located very close to the Oslo harbour. Fort having beautiful garden inside. You can find interesting church inside. We noticed a marriage ceremony 😜. Just take a walk inside and you’ll find a museum and the small shopping store. Always cops available no need to worry about security. Public toilets available inside the museum. Garden and the fort background are made for perfect panoramic pictures, don’t forget to click one.

What a beautiful fortress! Wow! The best is full of history and culture, walk on the roof of Oslo and especially enjoy a panoramic view on the harbor to make beautiful pictures. For my part, I visited this place at night, it was always open and it is free. I took the opportunity to walk around the fortress. My visit lasted about 1 hour, the time to take some nice pictures and to enjoy the place. It takes about 15min on foot from the city center.

The fortress is from 1300 to 1634.Very nice place. It has museum as well. Entrance to the fortress is free. There is a church as well. Everything looks v good. The view of the harbour is breathtaking. I recommend everyone to visit it at least once.

Wonderful place to visit and walking around. Nice views to the City. There is a underground parking exclusively for electric cars. You just pay the time you want to stay and charging the car is free.
