    Well - I feel like I am cheating a bit here, as we did not go in the opera house itself, but visited the grounds and climbed up the roof. Great view from up top and it was a fun, entertaining visit.

    This is probably the most friendly opera house in the world. It merged into the landscape becoming part of community where people can come and go easily, for a performance or not. The area is now much more developed than a few years ago and is definitely worth a visit for dance and/or opera lovers. I also highly recommend the guided tour but need to book in advance.

    Very nice infrastructure and nice place to go for opera, ballet and concerts in the city. I couldn’t make it on time to attend an event here, please check schedule and get your ticket in advance. Touristic destination, has good demand 🫶

    The building has very interesting architecture. It is fascinating that practically the entire surface of the building is walkable, while at the same time its interior has large openings and is very bright.

    Amazing being back for the first performance of The Nutcracker for a long while- Covid cancelling out the 2020 and 2021 (omicron hit Oslo) performances. The atmosphere was electric- pure joy and a tour de force.
