DuVerden Maritime Museum + Science Centre, Porsgrunn

Very child-friendly science activity museum. Alot of hands-on science installations. Among the coolest is a boat-simulator and crane-simulator, a room that messes with your sense og gravity, and alot more. There are a simple restaurant, and a little acience shop as well. Maybe to few parking spots. It's free parking at a shoping center 200m west of the science museum. Up to 3hour free parking, which should be enough for most people.

A small, but great museum. The entire exhibition is very interactive, which is a hit with curiuous children. It is not very big, the entire thing taking approximately 2-3 hours to experience the whole thing. Definitely worth the small costs.

Just go. It is amazing for whole family. Entrance fee is 100kr per adult and kids over 4. 20 official activities plus 3D movies so on

very nice place...enjoyable ways to learn for kids and adults. we were there before Covid and it had more things to do...hope the experiences at the lab will be back at the end of the pandemi.

Amazing experience for the entire family!!! Heard about it many times but not enough info to judge on how interesting it would have been for our 3-year-old daughter. Turns out, it's a fantastic choice regardless of age!!! So many different activities, super-friendly and helpfull stuff, all is neat and tidy, and kept in good shape and condition! Lots of varied activities, we almost spent three hours there, and that's with a little one!
