    A quaint little history museum! Good exhibit of the history of Saami culture, with art displays from contemporary Saami artists. Very much enjoyed :)

    Interesting museum about Sami history and culture! We learned a lot about f.e. Sami people, shamans and even raindeer. Very helpful and friendly staff!

    An informative dive into Sami traditions and history. The outdoor section is connected to the Varangerbotn naturreservat bird-watching observatory, where you can catch a glimpse of the unique animals and plant life sustained by the subarctic fjord system. Visitors include bar-tailed godwits (lappspove), Eurasian oystercatchers (Tjeld), and the Arctic-breeding sea ducks Steller's eider and King eider (Praktærfugl).

    Very nice small Sami museum, which take you from the ice age to the present. If you don't like big museums this one is exactly for you. There is few touch screens, where you can get more informations almost about everything. They have as well one room with duodji /handcraft - it's nice made, you have the feeling, that you are in nobles Jewellery shop😊
