Attabad lake, Hunza

1st visit to attabad lake was around 6pm onwards , it was freaking cold 🥶with the strong wind blowing , we can’t stand the cold weather so decided to come back again tomorrow morning around 11am onwards which was so much better .. calm and warm weather to take the boat 🚤 ride for 7 adults which cost 3,500pkr per boat for 30 minutes ride .. it was nice the color of the lake which was glacier water . Just that I don’t really like the steep walk down to take the boat .. so scary .. not much protection , no real stairs and hand railing .. got safety issue ..

One of the best places to visit. Crystal clear blueish, greenish and multicolor fresh glacier chilled water. Great place for boating and jet skiing. Epic views of mountains, pastures ,glaciers and water falls.

Attabad lake the huge attractive lake right on the Karakoram Highway. The blue water of Attabad lake take your attention from far away. Also you can have a light look at the passu cones that look awesome. Highly recommend to visit.

One of the most beautiful lakes in the north of Pakistan. It was formed in 2010 due to a massive landslide which blocked the flow of Hunza river and engulfing entire villages. The lake now serves as a popular tourist destination. There is boating available as well as jet skis. They have big boats which can easily accommodate 10-20 people and charges are reasonable as well. They provide life jackets for boating as well! A must visit if you're visiting Hunza and surrounding areas!

Most scenic place... you can feel cold breeze hitting your bare skin on shores ...even Water remains cold on peak summer days .. also everything is so expensive there especially boating
