Fatima Jinnah Park, Islamabad

Visiting the park was one of the major highlights of my stay in Islamabad. One could easily spend the whole day exploring the park and there would still be more to see. The peace and serenity of the environment is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Lovely public park. Wide open spaces for walking, jogging, cycling. Several playgrounds with manual rides for kids. Purpose built facilities for exhibition, events. Sometimes park used for public rallies or corporate events. Beautiful foliage all year round. Opens early and close around 9 - 10 pm

Beautiful, Gigantic, and friendly park to do jogging, family picnic, or have an outing. Its calmness and greenery just calm your mind and body from daily life hustles. Further, it has a vibrant market and eateries around it. So total all-rounder place. Love this place

It is like an oasis in the middle of Islamabad where you can enjoy the warm sun, cool winter breeze, the quietness and a space. Great for a stroll, jog or just sit around enjoying the view of mountains in a distance. There are children playgrounds and art gallery if you enter from Margalla road. The park and parking are free of charge. Highly recommended.

Besides all available good places and a healthy environment to play, picnic and art galleries, I spotted open holes and a very neglected place in the back yard. Perfectly built and artistically structured place but now it is being ruined due to lake of interest.
