Rawal Lake, Islamabad

It has a beautiful view with very large open spaces and a trail for walking. You can take your eatables along and have a picnic there. The lush green grass and open fields invite families to spend a terrific leisure time there with some playing cricket and some football. There is also an adventure park with Scooters and a restaurant serving delicious food. In all, its a perfect place to spend a day of the weekend !! But too much music make air pollution in nature places please avoid music on speckers..

Loved the vastness of the park. There is track for cycling and walking. The lake next to the park provides a beautiful scenery and a cool breeze. There is a bird aviary and lots of swings and a significant play area for kids. There is also a race track area for small F-1 cars. The parks has a small golf course and a swimming pool area inside the premises. You have many options of eatables to choose from, since the place has tens of stalls for snacks, burgers, drinks, soda etc. The pictures are from the F-1 area of the park where a car show was held, comprising of rare, beautiful and exotic cars alongside some muscle cars built as project cars with very good BHPs.

Rawal lake one of the beautiful place in Islamabad so you can visit bird house with your family or friends .there are many varieties of beautiful birds

The guy playing the flute was mesmerizing. Stayed by him about an hour and enjoyed the cold air. Went on a long horse riding for an affordable price and stopped by some kiosks for water. Lake view park is a must visit. Just try to avoid the beggars/trans in the parking lot as they ruin your visit and guilt trip you... wish the park did something about them but eitherway once entered you are free and away.
