Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes)
Rejuvenate your muscles at Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes), a complex that includes natural thermal pools with different temperature, changing rooms, restrooms, hot and cold showers, and a small snack bar. Bring a swimsuit, and if you forget flip-flops and towels, you can rent some at the entrance. Don't be put off by the murky pools, as that is mostly the effect of sulfur and other minerals in the water. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Machu Picchu holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes) and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

This is a very affordable local hot spring pools. The hottest pool isn't very hot, but they also have a cold pool. Nice for a quick soak after hiking if your hotel doesn't have a spa.
