  • The area is nice, the people are lovely and the demo was great. We bought quite a lot, something's I think we're a good price, but others definitely not...we bought a poncho for 150, a blanket for 150, a thick jumper for 100 and a table runner for 320. We went to a fancy shop in Cusco and the blankets were 80 and a poncho (different) was 480, so I think we did well on some things and maybe not so on others. In my mind we paid for the demo and the tea we were given, so it's not that bad I guess.
  • Beautiful explanation of the artisan manufacturing process to create Lama textiles. It was very education and entertaining. The locals speak in Portuguese, Spanish, English and Italian. Very impressive!
  • I loved the presentation how llama wool is washed, prepared, colored and knitted. The woman who did the presentation had great sense of humor and made the group laugh many times. There is also alpaca and llama that you can take pictures of. I found myself bonding with the alpaca. Of course it is a store as well so you can buy alpaca and llama wool items.
  • They demonstrate how they dye the wool and how to make the blankets by hand. You can also feed alpacas. Only thing is that, it does feel like a tourist trap and they definitely hike up their price for their goods so don't be afraid to haggle.
  • As the other statemements mentioned above, the demos were great and informative. But the hard sell and pushiness was too much. I would never go back.
