Create an itinerary including Big Lagoon
The tranquil turquoise-green waters of Big Lagoon lie tucked between magnificent limestone cliffs fringed by tropical vegetation. Showcasing a kaleidoscope of marine life, the spot provides an excellent diving and snorkeling opportunity. Cruise into it with a catamaran and hop off the boat for a pleasant swim, or kayak around to explore all the shades of blue and caves under the dramatically ridged cliffs. Set in the midst of karst formations sheltering clear waters, the lagoon is a breeding ground for numerous fish and crustaceans. Tours usually include an adventure to the island's smaller lagoon nearby and fresh seafood treats. Make Big Lagoon a part of your El Nido vacation plans using our El Nido trip planner.

  • The kajak tour in the big lagoon was the most amazing thing I did during my trip to El Nido. I loved exploring the lagoon on my own and going through the narrow stretches between the rocks. I had not been in a kajak for longer and the sun burns you evilly on the water. Yet is was just awesome. Not to miss when you get the chance. The kajak is 300php and you need about an hour to go all around the lagoon and back.
  • Big lagoon is part of TOUR A package in Elnido that costs 1200 pesos. The activity here is kayaking. It's pretty awesome. You can rent a kayak here for 300 pesos only.
  • Just an amazing place with amazing view. If you are taking tour the kayak is not included in the tour price. They will rent it for an additional 300pesso, which is totally worth it. Take dry bag with you not to wet your mobile.
  • The best. Avail Tour A for big lagoon experience. Kayak goin inside the lagoon costs 200-300. The experience is surreal. Make sure not just to take pictures but to also enjoy experiencing the place itself.
  • El Nido, Palawan is one of the most sought tourist destinations in the Philippines . The bluish-green scenery of the water and surrounded with rock formation mountains make the place unique and adorable to all the visitors of the place. One particular feature of El Nido is Big Lagoon. It is part of Tour A of their 4 tour packages. It is about half an hour ride away by boat. The place is really amazing and offers kayaking activity and snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour and this part of El Nido.
