The Cytadela park has quite a few surprises. Due to its size, you need time to get to its attractions - fresh air is a definite side benefit. Besides the usual lawns, ponds, flowers and trees...

Beautiful and full of history. You can visit all year around and never get bored with it. There are old military fort buildings and structures that are still accessible. There is also a military museum with the world war II exhibit (planes and tanks). The park is visited by bike raiders, runners, joggers and walkers. One of the nicest and coolest places and Poznań.

Amazing park not so far from the city centre. It is so enormous that you can easily find a quiet space to sit and rest. I recommend taking a look at the exhibition on the way to the Umberto restaurant.
-
Relatively well maintained, authentic park with landmarks of military history. Great for runs and walks. Could be better marked for the spots of interest.
-
Impressive park with lots of old fortifications, memorials and other things. First of all the park is quite massive and will take some time to explore everything just so you know. But it has lots of things inside of to take a look at such as old fortifications build at the 19th century, Museum of Armament, several monuments and memorials, graveyards and much more. So would suggest to give at least 1-2 hours to go thru everything in a nice pace and to sit down and relax during the stroll. Cafes and a restaurant is also located within so you could have a bit of food or beverage while you are exploring the park. Parking is also available around the park but beware that the entrance closest to the center of poznan has paid parking.

War grave memorials can be found here, Polish, Russian and commonwealth servicemen final resting place. Also there is a military museum on site worth visiting and not expensive 12zl per adult.
