One of the longest wooden piers in Europe at 512 m (1,679 ft), Sopot Pier stretches from the middle of Sopot Beach. It serves as both a pleasure pier and mooring for cruise ships and water taxis. Walk to the end, where the vapors from the high level of iodine in the water are said to benefit your health. A stroll up and down the pier gives views of the coastline and a respite from city sightseeing. Although events are held on and around the pier, it is free of shops and restaurants so it rarely gets crowded (except when the nearby bay hosts sailing and windsurfing competitions). This is a beautiful, old fashioned pier with a carousel and lots of food stalls to choose from. There is a small fee to enter the pier itself but it is absolutely worth it.

An attraction to take a look at and experience, but it's not very eventful in and of itself. You can take a relaxing walk and check out the views and argue with the gulls a bit. It's pleasant and there is a cafe and a restaurant at the end where you can get something to eat or drink. All throughout the pier there are benches where you can take a break. The whole pier is crowded even during the off season but it's a must when in Sopot.

It was a beautiful tourist attraction! I only had time to grab food and go, after walking on the pier. Well, I ate ice cream cone first because I didn't want it to melt. LOL It had lots of souvenir shops, restaurants and there were things to do like walk in the lighthouse.

Biggest wooden Pier in Europe and quite massive. As we come towards beach, pier we can see the crowd thronging this place but once in pier, we don't feel the same crowd thanks to the size of this pier which can accomodate lots of people. Must visit place in Sopot and main attraction of Sopot and something unmissable. There are lot of spots where we can take pics. There is also an restaurant in the middle of pier. In summers there is an entry ticket of 9zl and there would queues for buying tickets.

Beautiful long and well cared pier with a beautiful sea view. Great for a walk in any weather. You can see all the surroundings of Sopot from here as well. The only disappointment was that you have to pay a fee of 9 PLN just to enter the pier. Inside there is a public wc (with additional charge) and one restaurant.

Sopot is a wonderful and special place and with this pier, the experience is absolutely positive. We loved to take a walk there and enjoying the sound of waves and the birds. It’s a little bit weird that you have to pay for the entrance, but I understand that this is a business also. Anyway it worth the visit.
