Praia da Marinha, Caramujeira

It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beach in Portugal. It is beautiful indeed, but Lagos has also beautiful spots. Nevertheless, the arch with two natural windows is stunning. The view of the beach from above and land is better than from the sea.

Simply stunning view. Very picturesque from any angle. The 1.5km hiking trail is worth it, but could get very hot in the afternoon. Wear hat and proper shoes

Praia da Marinha is one of the most beautiful and emblematic beaches on the Algarve coast, so much so that it has been ranked among the 5 most beautiful beaches in Portugal and among the 10 best in the world. Thanks to its beauty, it has become the perfect setting for photographic services and reports. This small beach is surrounded by cliffs eroded over the years, which have generated a variety of rock formations such as arches, caves or natural wells. The most impressive of them is 50 meters high, and all the other small rocks seem to dance around it. The contrast between the crystalline and turquoise colors of the sea with the golden color of the rock is beautiful. The rocky walls of Praia da Marinha hide the marine diversity present in the territory, such as anemones, sea urchins, starfish and shrimp. In addition, the algae hide cuttlefish and octopus. This corner of preserved nature, almost wild, is very popular among lovers of diving, since here you can take a pleasant walk among the underwater natural beauty of the Algarve

Another fantastic beach in Algarve. Free parking, but the beach is popular, so you need to come early to get the spot. It is not so easy to access the beach, it takes around 10 min to go down. The views from the top are spectacular. Also on the beach you can rent a kayak and go to the most famous Benagil cave.

Nice (walking) trail on the cliffs to Benagil. Parking's limited but some people offer private parking for a few Euros, so watch out. Would recommend for a nice walk on top which takes not more than 30min one way 😎
