    There are two Miradouros in fact. They have an excellent view and tremendous potential for photoshoots. Be careful with cars since people cramp all their cars in a small space.

    This is one of my favourite view points in the National Park. There are 4 viewing platforms in this spot. If you are not a hiker or have mobility limitations you can drive straight up to this spot. One of the platforms is ramped and fully accessible.

    We stayed at the hotel at the bottom of the mountain and decided to walk up to the viewing point. This took about two hours to get up, but along the way you have multiple nice points that you may miss from within the car. At the top we had a lovely view of the national park and it was worth the climb. On the top of the mountain you can see the whole river / lake and all the mountains surrounding the river / lake. If you have the change, you should definitely pay a visit to the top.

    The view is breathtaking, but you'll be lucky to find it not filled to the brim with people. Find one of other great lookout spots over the Caniçada reservoir that are more secluded.

    Another beautiful place inside of Geres, worth every second and kilometer of this journey! One of the must go spots of these mountains. Only shame is how many people are there, but nothing you can't deal with.
