  • North side of the marina is a busy and lively strip of bars and restaurants all playing own music in competition, with a few shops dotted around. Not really a peaceful or authentic Portuguese...

  • Millionaire yachts and beautiful restaurants. Masters Bar has superb lunch menu. Best value too, and great service! Chavs as well, unfortunately. Brilliant wine shop on marina. Great range.
  • It is a stunning place to visit and a must visit in Faro, Quarteira, Portugal. You can just walk by the marina side or enjoy a glass of wine of cup of coffee at one of the restaurants there. You can also take a cruise tour from there and do some shopping.
  • Lovely marina plenty of expensive yachts and boats moored up...was a few millions worth..very nice to look at..water taxi can take you round the whole marina one stop was €3 euros all 6 stops was €5 took about 20 minutes card payments only no cash...lots of cafes, restaurants and bars to sit in at marina or just off it..ice cream stalls and table service available...price very from cafe to cafe etc..but should be one to suit everyone's budget..it was lovely people watching as your having a drink, coffee etc...lots of shops around the marina again budget to suit all ...always leave a tip if you can...doesn't have to be to big..most of the staff around the marina can speak a bit of English, German ,french and a few other languages as well as Portuguese..very pleasant few hours there..seating skattered around the marina..
  • Absolutely wonderful Marina - you could easily spend a day here. A decent selection of shops and restaurants, with some stunning views of swanky yachts and fancy cars. From a full 3-course meal to a simple omelette, there is something for everyone. Prices aren't the cheapest, but they're not ridiculous either. Public toilets are chargeable (hence the 4 stars not 5). People are friendly, and you don't get waiters trying to drag you into their restaurants - although they will pounce if you look remotely interested... A very short walk to a lovely beach one way, and town the other. This is worlds apart from the pitiful Marina at Albufeira, they are leagues apart. Well worth a visit!
  • Lovely place. Nice shops, marina and restaurants. Only real downside was the guys approaching youngish men trying to sell drugs. One night we were approached 11 times.
