Known locally as the Beach of Light, this sheltered stretch of fine sand features rugged volcanic cliffs to the east and a series of rock pools to the west. Nearby, you can stroll down a shady promenade offering a welcome break from the sun and easy access to the area's finest bars, restaurants, and shops. For something a little different, walk along the coast to other popular beaches, known for their rocky outcrops and secluded coves.     Beautiful beach, with little coffee places around. Good for a fresh swim or for a good surfing session depends on forecast. Landscape beautiful, a bit atypical.

    One of the beautiful places in the South of Portugal 🇵🇹 The coast line is beautiful. A nice place to visit. There is a parking place nearby where you can park your car for free. 🇵🇹

    Perfect to swimming and enjoying afternoon. I was at this beach 30 August 2022, water was clean and without seaweeds. (Some other beach has seaweeds so not good for enjoy at that days) Water was little bit cold but not too much for swimming because of sun. There is lots of bar and restaurant, even free mini shower. It was best beach of lagos!
