Create an itinerary including Praia da Falesia
Walk for hours below beautiful cliffs along the sandy shores of Praia da Falesia, popular among tourists for its dramatic backdrop. The beach is named for its gouged, red cliffs, which act as a blockade for troublesome winds that could ruin a good day in the sun. While the cliffs are rugged, the shoreline is calm and flat, and therefore good for playing or taking a long walk. • Excellent beach with nice sea and sand. It and be a little crowded but beach is big so you can still have some privacy. There is only one bar, on top of the cliff so if you want cold drink you should better brini it with you or take 10 minute walk to other beach.
  • Strictly speaking it's a long stretch of beautiful beach that just keeps going. I was cycling above it heading for Albefeira. The eroded cliffs make for stunning scenery. The beach itself is fairly gently shelving and I saw many family groups enjoying themselves.
  • Amazing beach with beautiful cliffs, nice sand and great waves
  • Beautiful, otherworldly, red cliffs against white sand. Plenty of quiet spots for a perfect chilled day ☀️
  • Amazibg beach, every morning at 7h00
