The train to Ragua is the shortest, quickest, cheapest way to see the Douro Valley. Trains leave Porto-Campainha station (if you start grom São Bentão, must change after 5 minutes) every 1-2 hours lF.... more

Do not miss Douro Valley if in Porto. We only had 2 full days in Porto and were hesitate to go to Douro Valley, We are grateful that we did not miss it. We had a private tour so there was 5 of us...

the views were fabulous , it is absolutely worth the time and exploration of the little train trip if you like natural scenery. if I had to do over, I woudl stop before Pinhao so I couls have a hope..... more
