    I stayed in a house about 40 minutes walk from this beach. Be sure to be at the beach when the tide is low. For me this beach is one of the best in the area. I was there a few hours in the morning....  more

    I've been living less than 10Km from this beach for 10 years, and eventually tried it today. So...to correct a few remarks here: 1) Rogil is in the Algarve, not the Alentejo, which doesn't start...

    Signposted off the main road at Rogil and then you follow a dirt track for about 2 miles. Good carpark in which to leave the car, not far from the descent to the beach. Wooden steps lead down to the.....  more

    Absolutely breathtaking. Last part of the road (about 10min) was a not asphalted road, but nothing critical. There are several parking spaces available. Camping not allowed.

    Cool beach, perfekt for some longer walks. Swimming is not so easy due to the rocks but it is still pretty nice. The road to get there is not the easiest but doable. :)

    It's my favourite beach down this part of the country. Gorgeous breathing views, amazing waves and a good path down the coast to the ocean.

    Relax beach with amazing view and not very explored so not too many people. No lifeguard and be careful with the rocks

    Black stone formations and not many people. Small parking lot at end of flat dirt road. No facilities. Great for spending the day after tide goes out.
