Famous for its golden beaches and secluded bays, Parque Natural da Arrabida stretches along the southeastern coastline of the Setubal peninsula. A protected area sheltering Mediterranean plant and animal wildlife, the vast park covers more than 100 sq km (42 sq mi) of mountainous landscapes covered with olives, pistachios, and lavender. The park's hills serve as a permanent home to a large population of native deer and boar, while the lower areas protect butterflies, beetles, eagles, and kestrels. To learn more about the area's diverse wildlife, visit the park's oceanographic museum inside a 17th century fort.     A beautiful place to hike or do trail runs. There are both hilly and flat paths. It is a great park to explore and some of the views are incredible.

    Amazing views from the sea. Should be a definitely must see place inside also. But look up to see if you are passing with a boat to see the beautiful nature and the classic lighthouse and church.

    Stunning park in Setubal! Such a massive park you need a few hours to walk the trails and visit. The beaches around Setubal are spectacular! Feels like you're going down south on vacation. The water is clear, not many waves, and the sand is nice and clean!

    Lovely park and great place to take pictures, go for a long trail walk and just spend your day! Make sure to bring good shoes with you as you'll need it!
