  • This is a hidden gem for sure. Beautiful beach in the South of Portugal. Very small town perfect for a relaxing, lazy beach vacation.

  • Beautiful clean beach Free parking but not a lot. Toilets near the ticket store. Excellent place for kitesurfing Sweet little town with amazing beach front places to rent.
  • Beautiful, clean, not crowded, easy parking if you arrive before 10am, lots of shopping options for food, drinks, beachwear and flip flops - even a great little mini market that cells everything you need from onion, potatoes to shampoo and conditioner!
  • This beach is a typical beach - a long stretch of sand and the ocean crashing onto the sand. There are rocks on either side. The beach was pretty wide, the landscape gorgeous. You cam walk along past the rocks on the right, just either go when the tide is totally out, or be dressed suitably, and know how to swim, for you will have to climb over/around all the rocks and will be getting wet. We didn't go all the way down because the tide was coming in too fast for us to.
  • For those looking for the dinasour tracks they are at the western edge of the beach! You can see them clearly from the stairs at the western edge but if you really want to look at them step down and walk along the ancient tracks so you also can be part of the history!
  • This beach is gorgeous. One of the most perfect beaches I have ever seen. Cool (not cold) aqua blue green water, soft sand, cliffs... clean... dinosaur prints... I could go on
