Marina Puerto del Rey, Fajardo

Rented a private boat from Culebra VIP located at Safe Harbor Marina, bathrooms and showers were well maintained and cleaned. Staff was friendly and the marina restaurant was amazing. We look forward to our next visit to this favorite spot.

This is one of the best marinas I have ever visited. It is well maintained and the grounds are kept immaculate. After arriving to the marina on a boat, we headed for the indoor showers. These too are well maintained. The issue we had was that after getting into the shower stalls there was no water pressure, just a trickle of water which we reluctantly endured. Why only a trickle? Was the water shut off for some reason? If so, then the main door to the showers should have been locked and a sign posted. This is unacceptable as this marina bills itself as world class.

Seriously one of the nicest marina’s I’ve ever visited. Instructions from our tour were easy. Clean bathrooms. Beautiful designated common areas. Staff was friendly, we took a trolly to our boat and at the end they oversee to trolly us back to our car and overall a well kept marina!

We stopped at PDR for a 5 day break to provision and get some rest after a long passage from the bahamas. The marina is first class in every way. It’s big and extremely well managed. Most notably the staff is 100% focused on the customers and are smiling and always happy to assist. We encountered at least 20 of their staff over the five days and without exception they were solely focused on anything we needed. And they’re all super friendly. The facilities are excellent. The docks are fixed so have your fenders ready. They are free of damage, debris, and “sharp pointy things” that we all hate. The on-site restaurant was excellent with a good assortment of seafood and cold beer! Check the happy hour specials for sure. We will definitely be back. Thanks PDR for an excellent stay.
