Spotin tours, Guaynabo

We went on this tour after a recommendation from our friend that hiked with Spotin tours twice before. The trail was fun and challenging, and full of beautiful views all around. Our tour guide, Ivan, was excellent and had a lot of knowledge about El Yunque's history and biodiversity. He also really helped us climb and encouraged every member of the group to try each activity. I didn't think I was capable of jumping off a 20 foot cliff but somehow I did it, and I'll probably do it again. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in PR! I lost a shoe going on the rock slide, so make sure to wear shoes that fit well and that you can get wet without concern. Would also recommend wearing a life jacket if you're a good swimmer but afraid of heights - makes the jumps a little easier. Have fun!

Great experience to get down and dirty and take a trip in the forest!! In a trip like this, a tour guide can make or break a trip, and our guide Ivan was one of the best I’ve ever had. Super friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable!! I had a wonderful time with him. Make sure you request Ivan when you sign up!! Great time all around, def recommend if your looking for a trip to get your body moving.

Our tour guide, Mardie, was THE BEST. He is definitely a big reason why I’m giving 5 stars. He was very informative, knowledgeable, funny, and took our safety seriously. We hiked about 20min into the jungle and our guide stopped along the way to tell us things and answer questions. Then we came upon a fresh water spring we could drink from, slid down the natural water slide, jumped off cliffs, and swung from the rope swing! My partner doesn’t know how to swim so Mardie brought him a life jacket and always made sure our other guide, Joel, was in the water to help him if need be. It was so fun to be able to enjoy this adventure with my partner while knowing he was safe the whole time. If you’re looking for a long hike through the jungle, this ISN’T it. But if you’re looking for a fun water adventure, IT IS! :-) This was definitely a highlight of my trip. I’d recommend! Ask for Mardie and don’t forget to tip your guides!

My first ever trip to PR and El Yunque!! Bryan and team were exceptional and very helpful during our hike. They gave me the utmost comfort level of protection and took us to the most beautiful waterfall. Lots of fun!!

What an incredible experience and an unforgettable memory!!! Special appreciation for Bryan and Anthony for the elite hospitality and kindness and great leadership skills with generosity. Enjoyed every moment the water slides and diving from different heights and rope swinging is too much fun you HAVE to come here if you’re in Puerto Rico. 10/10 high encouraged.
