I had an amazing experience!!! I took a surfing lesson, Angel did a great job I was able to learn the basics and have fun at the same time. Store is full of great quality gear. If you are near Jobo beach and want to experience surging I recommend WRV!!!

I visit family on the island every year and every year we stop here for a hat and stickers. This year I was with my kids and one of the attendants gave sticker to my kids and was so patient with them as they were pretty beat from spending the morning in the sun. I never have a bad encounter here. It's a 5 star experience every time!

I rented a board here and they could not have been more helpful. They helped me get a great board that fit the waves I wanted to surf perfectly. I’ve surfed quite a bit and debated a bit but they talked me into a board and it was a great choice! They also gave me a lot of wave knowledge before I paddled out. Even came in with a small ding and they took care of it without charging me extra. Angel and co gave me a great experience!

Absolutely horrendous staff - I was threatened over surf wax. I tried to rent a surfboard and they at first tried to overcharge me. Then they left the board outside and walked away. However the board had little to no wax on it and when I approached them and asked for wax they became hostile and said I would need to buy my own wax. I've rented dozens of boards in shops all over the world and every time they wax the board for you. It's typically part of the service. If WRV doesn't feel like providing wax, then at least be proactive in saying 'this board needs wax but you will need to buy it'. Instead the staff was infuriated that I asked for wax and then I expressed disappointment when it was not provided. Things escalated quickly and the staff said, and I quote, 'don't f$%& with locals'. All over surf wax. Absolutely insane.
