The fountain was not running at the time we visited, but the statues are still lit up and beautiful, and it’s a nice walk down Paseo de la Princesa.

Awesome spot if you love sunsets! Great stroll for a Sunday afternoon outing. We started from red door entrance of the and walked the path to the fountain. You can keep walking about 5 min further and grab something from one of the food trucks or a drink from one of the bars.

With European influences, the Raíces fountain is located on the Paseo de la Princesa in the very center of old San Juan with a beautiful view of the sea and in the background you can see the Governor's house, La Fortaleza.
