Barely a national museum, more a small showcase for Brazza with a few display boards about him. The mausoleum downstairs was off-limits on my visit. Worth 10 minutes if you are in the area.

i recommend trying these places. Musée National tells most about the colonial era with de Brazza's outstanding statue. In the same area you'ill find banks and shops among which Casino tops the list...

This is a must see for Brazzaville, but it is also a little disappointing. The information inside could be gotten almost entirely off wikipedia. A first class museum could create some really nice...
