    Not my favourite site of this UNESCO heritage places, but I enjoyed the visit nevertheless as it was photogenic with the Autumn colours and it is a bit different than many other sites as it feels...

    Wonderful and well preserved citadel. It is under UNESCO heritage. The citadel is not big compared to others but it is preserved very well. There are restrooms and some parking lots. We visited the place with 5 years old kids and they enjoyed it. At the place you can also buy some wine and souvenirs. Definitely worth visiting.

    I am a really proud romanian when I see well preserved sites like this one. The entrance is only RON 15 (10 if you are a pupil/student) and you definitely won’t regret it.

    Quite beautiful, in a nice area, far from the main road. There are different viewpoints around it from where you can get some nice pictures.

    Nice place, full of history. Even had a paintings exhibit in the church of the Fortress and the paintings, from various artists, some of the quite known, could be bought. The lady which acts as a curator is kind and ready to explain everything to the curious visitor.

    Amazing place and wonderfully maintained. Unlike other fortified churches, this one has a truly authentic collection of exhibits displayed in one of the towers (put some pics).Go pay a visit, definitely worth seeing!
