Cetakuia Hill (Dealul Cetakuia), Cluj-Napoca

Was a lovely walk, great view of the city. Great air, lots of trees & places to sit. I recommend using the Belvadir hotel restroom so you can see some "old glamour" Since we have knee issues we took bolt to a relatively high spot & went down after our walk using a communal scooter Defiantly a spot you shouldn't miss while visiting clouj!

Nice panorama of the city especially at sunset on a gorgeous sunny day. There are 2 ways to go up/down there, one being to go through private houses which I did accidentally when I went up as I was following a young family assuming they were tourists... and the "official" way with proper stairs so to say. Pretty satisfied to have skipped a team event where colleagues were indoor and shot onto one another with laser and went instead for this 3 hour walk in the city, ha!

Cluj-Napoca, the second largest city in Romania,is an exceptionally beautiful city, very clean and organized. You can easily walk around or take public transportation to other interesting places. The Mattias Rex monument and the St Michael's cathedral are must-visit places, as well as the Avram Iancu Cluj plaza. I highly recommend staying at Casa Pasteur (Str. L. Pasteur 14) if you are on a budget. It's very close to the "centru" of the city and in a very nice neighborhood. Be careful crossing most streets. They also use traffic lights for pedestrians!

Amazing view point of the city! Totally worth the climb. It’s a pity that not more restos or pubs exist on the top, but the walk was still very nice. When coming down, take a walk in Central park as well :)

Wonderful Park with the best views over the city of Cluj Napoca. Very close to the city centre so makes a good before or after lunch walk.
