  • We did the way less traveled, some rated it as difficult. First of all, we reached Slatina village and a further 38km forestier road. Strongly recommend you to get your food supply at Doi Passi...

  • Amazing mountain with fantastic views! The hike up to the peak is pretty challenging but with great views and absolutely worth it!

  • Beautiful mountain with great views. Ascent from Stan Lui Burnei is really steep but is doable in a few hours - however, the access road is in a very bad condition, you need to allocate about 1.5 hours for it. A must see for fans of mountain trekking!
  • It's a wonderful mointain track, has amazing views, you can take water from rivers and lakes, it has some parts that are difficult for people that do not climb the mountains very often. I recommend to have the bare minimum of mountain track equipment, not a very heavy backpack and small bottles for easier refill. The weather changes fast so it is imperative to bring warm clothes, extra T-shirts and water resistant jackets. I also recommend to try the circuit, instead of climbing down the same way, try Valea Rea, greater views, lakes and walk in the woods. The whole track took 12 hours with medium pace and stops for photos.
  • Awesome view, chilly weather for August.
  • Proud for reaching it...
  • Nice place to hike. Possible to go in one day from Balea Lake. But only if you are very well prepared, and have physically capable.
