  • The lady at house no.307 has opened the church for us, although we arrived just 5mins before the closing (at 6p.m). She was really lovely and helpful, we are so thankful for the tour she gave us...

  • Most unexpectedly wonderful experience provided by the priestess of the church (we came across her by accident). Not only did we get the full story of the place (which is fascinating in itself), but we also got a church organ recital. The fact that the priestess was constantly referring to the parishioners as _the community_ made the entire visit a heartwarming, unforgettable one.
  • Newly renovate situated in a very simple and quite little village. We were lucky to get there in October when there was the autumn festival held at the Malancrav Manor right next to this church.
  • Very well preserved medieval church with beautiful, vivid frescoes. This church has the oldest altarpiece in whole Transylvania.
  • Amazing and marvelous old lutherian church from the 14th Century. Medieval painting unbelievable !!! An old woman will provide you nice historical information about the history of the church and the paintings. You can ask also for a local apple juice from a local Romanian - Swiss project. Don't forget to walk along the main street of the town to see real local houses. At the end of the road in the village you can see a Rom small community. Really amazing time to discover the real side of Romania.
  • One of the most beautiful old churches in Transylvania. The interior painting is the oldest and the only one preserved in the transilvania fortress churches. The guide and the host is one lovley old lady how will kindly guide you inside and outside.
