This is an awesome hidden gem for a tourist. You will find a beautiful forest, very well organized, with trails leading to an ancient monastery in the rock. And the new Monastery on the hill. Plus some souvenir shops dug into the small hills. It's such a lovely place. No entry ticket.

This old Orthodox church is made in stone, and is good preserved in order to last longer. The entry is free, but donations are welcomed. There is a guide who will help you with a background story and answers to the questions you have. The road until the place is good, and there is a parking at the base of the hill. There are a lot of friendly dogs out there, so bring food for them, because they are absolutely gorgeous. Also, the garden in beautiful, with a monastery even higher than the old Orthodox one.

I found the hills more than a challenge. As with most orthodox monasteries no refreshments available. Mercifully there are toilets.

Peaceful place! The monastery is something else that you can’t see everyday! Filled by energy and peace! Clean place also! Definitely recommend it to visit!
