Great little monastery to go and visit if in the area of Ramet, Alba Iulia. Very scenic and there is a little museum all about the place.

The scenery is definitely a highlight and apparently there is an icon of Virgin Mary I believe that performs miracles. The monastery is extremely popular among Romanians thus it is very touristy but the fully there is a large enough parking lot. Upon entering, you need to make sure that you are dressed very conservatively that is if you're wearing shorts regardless of whether you are a man or a woman, you need to cover up. There are clots that can help you do that at the entrance. The monastery is large enough. The road to the monastery is good.

A wonderfully peaceful and serene place in the heart of Romania. The grounds are immaculately kept, and the scenery is out of this world. It's at its best when it isn't swarming with tourists, and there's plenty to do around the premises. It's not a long drive away from Sibiu, but be careful when it's raining heavily or snowing – the road up can get tricky.

Interesting place. The road from main highway is very narrow but also very picturesque. Not so many tourists there, so you may feel better calm vibe of that place.
