A collection of crown jewels makes Armoury Chamber one of Moscow's most popular tourist attractions. Part of the city's centrally located World Heritage Site, this museum houses 15,000 royal dresses, including those worn by the Empress Elizabeth during her coronation ceremonies. Other highlights include a pair of Peter the Great's boots, numerous royal carriages and sledges, and a lavish throne studded with over 800 diamonds. Be sure to visit the upstairs galleries, which contain a vast collection of silver artworks produced between the 12th and 17th centuries, as well as 10 world-famous Easter eggs made by celebrated jeweler Faberge. Ease your journey through Russian art history with an audio guide, available at the on-site ticket office. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Moscow holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Armoury Chamber and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Lots of Russians stuff in display like clothing and carriages etc not an armory as the name suggests. Worth s visit if you have the time and are interested in that sort of stuff.

Definitely worth a visit. Great collection of Russian royal attributes. Deep dive into pre Revolutionary Russia. Great audio guides in English 👍

A very interesting and thought provoking look into a different age and a glimpse into a world of splendor and privilege. Well worth a visit, lots to see, start early.

Fantastic museum. Ticket cost 1000 rubles. 100%.worth the money. Inside you can see collection of gold and silver jewellery , arms and weapons, dresses, carriages, religious items. For diamond found is separate ticket 500r

Considering the ticket fare, I found the exhibition to be a bit small. Nice collection of treasuries though. Free audio guide is a plus. Negative point is that you are not allowed to take pictures inside. Be smart and reserve your ticket for a specific time slot a few days in advance via the internet, the queue at the ticket office was long.

What an amazing collection this is. Rich and varied with things to interest all. The collection of gold and silver objects and the weapons are amazing. The horse carriage collection is astounding. Aim to spend about 3-4 hours here and use the supplied audio guide. Enough seating to relax. The collection may seem to be in a compact place as they have a lot to show...they could use a space 5 times bigger to display in a better way but would be less secure and more tiresome too . Very much recommend. Book online if possible and get there for the allocated time, no time limit to leave once inside . Keep a snack and water with you.
