Get a glimpse of Russia's artistic past at Muzeon Art Park, a space dedicated to statues and monuments primarily from the days of the Soviet Union. The park, home to more than 700 pieces, is something of a time capsule from an era when socialist realist styles dominated public spaces around the country. You can find all sorts of famous figures among the multitude of statues, including the infamous Josef Stalin and Vladimir Lenin, along with the equally ubiquitous hammer-and-sickle symbols of the former USSR. You'll see plenty of generic statues dedicated to workers, collective farmers, and other Soviet archetypes as well. Take special note of the fact that many of the statues are somewhat damaged; this is a result of their abandonment after the collapse of Communism, and many were toppled and left to degrade before they came to the collection beginning in 1992. Muzeon park of arts is like a walk through an art gallery in an open field. With works of Soviet era to contemporary artists placed at different spots in the park, people can enjoy art while taking a stroll through the park. The New tretyakov gallery is located inside the park. One can see Peter the Great statue on Moscow River up close from this park, while opposite of Moscow River visible, is the cathedral of Christ the saviour. Across the entrance of the Muzeon park is situated the central cultural park of Moscow. Overall the park is worth a visit. The view of Moscow river during sunset is magnificent and a walk beside the river is Serene.

Very nice place by the river Moskva, with a lot of sculptures, including statues of Lenin, but also some more artistic ones. From the shore you can see nice panorama of the city and huge monument to Peter the Great. Must visit when sightseeing Moscow.

Really nice place to visit if you want to see all the old soviet sculptures. This park leads to the Riverside which is also very picturesque and lovely to walk along

Together with Gorki and Vrabiory park, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful river promenades in the world. Back to Museo, it is a superb parc giving to the Moscow river with direct access to Gas3 contemporan art center by Renzo Piano. Museo is hosting the New Tetryakovska Gallery. Sober, austere, perfectly adapted to modern and contemporan art. Interior including the interior garden are in good shape, exterior starts to be a bit old.... Currently there is a sublime exhibition of Mikhail Vrubel A must seen!

Collection of year old sculptures are standing tall with their own uniqueness. The ugliest monument of Russia has a different charm. Nice place to hang out
