Stroll among large oaks, rare flowers, fountains, and marble statues at Summer Garden. One of the few sites preserved since the time of Peter the Great, the garden was designed by the tsar and opened in 1704. Admire statues by 17th- and 18th-century Italian sculptors, which represent mythological themes, gods, and heroes of antiquity. Take a close look at the 18th-century iron fence and the circle of iron chairs made by 12 different blacksmiths. The garden also features the Summer Palace of Peter the Great, a coffee house, and a teahouse. A super beautiful park to visit. I enjoyed every corner of it. Lots of beautiful statues and fountains. The pond with ducks, swans and seagulls is a special attraction. I advise to visit this park...

We walked along the Swan Canal to the Summer Garden. On the left side of the entrance is the summer palace of Peter the Great, but after the castle we wanted to enjoy nature more and we went along...

Peter's summer garden is truly a beautiful place to hang out with friends or family. It has well maintained vegetation & garden areas, a pond at the front with ducks & swans, fountains & a couple of places for coffee & ice cream. It has a free entry. Not many options to eat inside.

Gardens are beautiful. A sense of peacefulness fills you as you stroll through the gardens. The tea garden is lovely. A little pricey but good. Well maintained. Free to the public, and totally out rates the botanical gardens. Easy access from Metro or bus routes and tram. Note they are closed on Tuesdays.

Really beautiful and busy place at any time of the year.Awesome statues and landscape one of most romantic places I have seen in city where is free entrance.Very good place to take wonderful pictures or for these who into drawing, draw something nice. It's very close to busy street but until you into garden, feeling like you somewhere far away from dusty, busy city.Really enjoy my time there and wish could visit it at summer and winter as well. p.s. no souvenir sellers makes it even special.

Centrally located so easy to work into your tourist walk around. Lots of great sculptures, although not the originals. Fountains, etc. In the southern part of the park there is a small lake with swans. The restored park looks great, but in a way I preferred the more old rugged look it had before. Still, come and see and relax in the shade.

The summer garden is absolutely fantastic this summer and it's upkeep had not suffered because of the COVID-19. In fact the summer garden was free for visitors it at least for a time. The fountains were all working and the gardens were all well maintained.
