  • One of the main temples on the island to visit. Nice quiet temple. Lot of mosquitos if you stand still so have to keep moving or do apply insect repellant before visiting
  • The Wei Tuo Fa Gong temple is in the vicinity of Bukit Puaka and approximately 2km from the Pulau Ubin jetty. It houses shrines dedicated to several Buddhas (it appears to be a Tibetan school of Buddhism) and also Hindu deities. A chief character here is the Kshitigarbha Boddhisatva, known for his vow to not achieve enlightenment until all living beings are rescued from hell. The temple is situated on a small hill and on the other side, is a small pond with terrapins and fish. This place has a tranquil and rustic appeal.
  • Other than the colourful prayer banners, do look out for the beautiful insects too.
  • Very nice and scenic temple with a lot of prayer flags and deities, and even prayer wheels. It feels almost like Bhutan. Owner was very friendly and taught us how to pray to each of the gods. There is also a friendly black dog called Ah Orh who likes to chase monkeys. Lots of birdlife like oriental magpie robins and the critically endangered straw-headed bulbul, and there are also red-eared sliders (I think) in the water.
  • Supprised to find a collection of Temples in this Island. Many Gods and Dirties of various Religions.
