Get in touch with natural beauty at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The attraction bears the title of the country's first official wetlands reserve and plays a significant role as a resting habitat for migratory birds. The area's unusually large bird population was first noticed in 1986, when a call was made to preserve the naturally significant area. Today, the area is a popular site for eco-friendly tourism, as it features raised wooden walkways and viewing platforms surrounding the water. Bring your binoculars, as the area is an acclaimed bird-watcher's haven. The reserve offers plenty of educational resources, allowing you to learn more about the region and the animals within the natural habitat. Due to its remoteness, this is one of the most quiet spots for walking in Singapore. The area is fantastic for seasonal birding and if you want to spot the Malayan monitor lizards.

Nice place to walk and enjoy the nature. Not so crowded if u come early, like 7 am or so. Pay attention to the birds “singing”. Use the sound to locate them. Occasionally u will see some birds grabbing some fishes for food ~~~ Take your time and walk through the different trials. Well renovated and toilets are available.

A Wetland nature reserve with an emphasis in Bird watching. Bring your binoculars if you have one, and you may be able to spot some migratory and exotic bird species. The path is relatively well maintained and is suitable for a family of most ages, I have even seen elders in wheelchair being pushed around to experience nature.

Probably my favorite place in Singapore. Nice to get into nature away from the busy city areas! So many birds to find, crocodiles to see, and general peaceful nature scenery! If you haven't visited, you should!

The man made drops are unique and fun. A quick walk at the wetland, enjoyed the walk and scenery. I also lucky enjoy to capture the National flag 🇸🇬during the National Day! And the mating horseshoe crab.😀! Some areas are still under construction.

Had some time alone listening to birds - though I was quite annoyed by the murder of crows who dominated one part of the mangroves (as well as some of the humans who were talking really loudly) But that's more reflective of my inner state than anything else. Anytime is a good time to come (maybe except in the rain) and I hope I can dro by when the winter migrants stop by and the area is full of birds

At this ecological wonder, visitors can learn about the reserve's rich biovidersity through guided tours. Sungei Buloh is home to rich biodiversity. There are numerous walking trails and wheelchair-accessible paths throughout the 130ha nature reserve, and visitors can discover its native inhabitants such as otters, crabs, water snakes and monitor lizards. Bird-watchers can take the Migratory Bird Trail that goes around the Buloh Tidal Ponds and admire resident birds like herons, kingfishers and sunbirds. Children will enjoy the Junior Adventure Trail - minutes from the Visitor Centre - where they can mirror the movements of a crab or mudskipper among the mangroves.
