I love the experience at The Intan (which means Diamond) the house of Paranakan culture. Make sure you book your private tour before you come. Alvin is so kind and friendly. The food was really reallllly good 😋 Thank u Alvin for sharing all those stories behind the items u ve collected.

Really enjoyed our visit, the owner shared a lot of culture and values for the Peranakan heritage. Great learning for all of us. I did pay attention on my way back on Singapore airlines, this museum is where they shot the safty video at. 😄 Strongly recommend.

Got the best experience while being here. The Intan peranakan is known as the smallest museum in Singapore, eatablished by a young man who originally wanted to understand his ancestral history. We were welcomed in such a friendly manner, Alvin Yapp the owner was such a great storyteller. I love the way he tells us about his origin and the Peranakan culture. It was an immersive and memorable experience. They also provide us with snacks and food which are seems relatable, because we had it too in Indonesia but strangely it feels quite different. We do share similar DNA but got enriched as he told us the story. For experience, I really recommend you to visit The Intan 👌🏻

Our group of 14 entered by appointment, welcomed by Alvin, and ready to learn about the Peranakan culture. He is charming, engaging, and authentic in showing us about his personal museum/home. It is no wonder he received official accolades for his collection and display. As he presented insights into the history and culture, we enjoyed tea and Peranakan snacks. To the person, we enjoyed our time there...a truly unique and enjoyable event.
