  • Lovely walk where you can experience beautiful nature. Very nice to be able to be close to the city, but same time to have this relaxing, beautiful nature.

  • Beautiful hike and great views on the trail! I did the 10 km hike, which I found to be only a little over 5 km. However, it was nice walking on pavement instead of a dirt road, and the inclination made it more fun. I also loved walking on the canopy path for a while.
  • If you have some time left in Singapore and do not only want to go for the top tourist attractions, consider walking from Henderson Waves to Forrest Walk, Alexandra Arch, Hort Park, Canopy Walk and Kent Ridge. It’s a beautiful 5.8km walk. Start from the bus stop right at the foot of Henderson Waves or walk down from Mount Faber Cable Car Station.
  • One of the non touristy activities that I enjoyed on my trip to Singapore was hiking/walking here. There were very less people and views were amazing. The trail that I took was around 15-20 minutes walk and leads to Handerson Waves.
  • Very nice hike. We started at Kent Ridge Park, passed Mt Faber and finished at Harbour Front MTR. The walk was very pleasant and the entire trial was well pathed. If you plan to do this trial please do not forget to go up to faber point just before reaching the cable cars at Mt Faber. There's brilliant views there and if following the signs the Faber Point is easily missed.
  • Amazing park with elevated (and not elevated trails) in the middle of the jungle. It can be very hot at midday, so I guess it is better to visit it in the early morning. We visited it on a weekday and there was almost nobody apart from some locals walking or jogging.

A trek along The Southern Ridges brings visitors to five other parks - Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and the Labrador Nature Reserve. Spread over 10km of green and open spaces, a hike through The Southern Ridges takes visitors to five local parks which are linked by park connectors. As part of the journey, travellers cross bridges through the Adinandra Belukar, a distinct secondary forest, and can observe a variety of birds. Henderson Waves is another highlight of the walk. Its Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge is a marvel during nightfall - it is illuminated with LED lighting. Trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of lush greenery, sights and sounds of wildlife.
