We went there for a concert. They bring very good rock and blues bands once or twice per month, which is great! They brew their own (very good beer). The only reason this is NOT a five star review: the concerts are in a large tent outside. It was February and -4 degrees. I was going there for the first time and was going to bring my young son to the concert and called to ask if that's ok. They said of course, but didn't warn that it is OUTSIDE in the winter and FREEZING! They don't say this on their website either. Also, i asked the musicians if they knew they'd be playing outside (they were very cold during the concert and the singer was losing his voice). They WEREN'T told either. I think that's disrespectful to both the audience and the musicians. If recommend the museum's concerts, but only in the warm weather!

Great little museum on the history of trade. No crowds and impeccably clean. There is a bus to this museum but we biked along the river. This museum rarely get any visitors. The main door was closed in the opening hours. You have to ring the bell to buy the ticket and enter the museum. The caretaker (German and English speaking) was very friendly and tried to explain the history of trade. It is just one room museum with a decent size of collection. After the visit, you can watch a movie (30 minutes) on the history of cash registers. Only cash payment. No cards accepted.

A very good brewery and pub with a home brewed beer. A rustical vintage atmosphere reflecting the old Austrian Monarchy. One star minus for a very tiny premises which become problem especially in winter when sitting outside is not possible.

You have to go here when in Bratislava, and make sure you have a Bratislava roll - you won't regret it! Lovely service and very interesting little shop filled with local goods!
-
Lovely exhibition of cash registers, advertising posters and other items from the pre-socialist free market era.
