  • This is a castle up in a hill. The most important thing is the cathedral and the diocesan museum. The church is amazing, with stunning frescoes and many relics from different saints. Everything is...

  • The castle grounds are absolutely worth visiting, the rest of town not. Gorgeous setting, perfect for a walk.

  • It’s not very big and crowded. Entry is for a fee. There is a restaurant or coffee shop on the top of the wall. The church inside is functional and very beautiful inside. There is a monument for Roman Pope Francis. Parking limited and access to castle is not very convenient for wheelchairs.
  • If you’re on a weekend city break to Bratislava, it is definitely worth to quickly visit Nitra as well. It’s a quaint, cute little town with lots of cafes and bookstores
  • I truly suggest to see this castle. It is small, but it is super nice. We parked 500m from the castle and that road up to the castle it is amazing. Unfortunately the museum was close, but still we spent there more than 1h.
  • Made a couple of decent photos, but barely any foreign signs and vesides temple there is not much to see. Was freely available though
  • Beautiful, historic and well worth the effort to go here. The collections on display are exhibited in an underground tunnel-like structure, and for a small fee can be explored. The array of bishop vestments is impressive as you join the guided tour to the bell tower. The view from the top is stunning. Take some time to go into the church.
